Brazilians enjoy victory but consider improving throughout the tournament

 

Brazilian coach Leonardo Carvalho shares his impressions with the media at the mixed zone in Mexicali.

Mexicali, Mexico, September 11, 2015 - The Brazilian squad led by their captain Fernando Kreling, and coach Leonardo Carvalho celebrated their first victory in the State Auditorium. 

Kreling mentioned that Group C which they’re part of along with Cuba, Iran and China is a highly competitive group due to the fact that each team has the level to compete in the finals. 

The coach of the four time champion team, Leonardo Carvalho, commented that his team could have played better but Cuba’s quick pace did not allow them to do so.

Carvalho also mentioned that Brazil will bring a better game to the table, the rest of their matches are critical if they want to make it in this  Championship.

On the Cuban side, the Caribbean squad lamented the defeat of 3-0 against the powerful brazil.

The coach Luis Rodolfo Sanchez said his team was lack of concentration against a strong team like Brazil. "Now, our mentality is to defeat the next opponent, even when we know the good level from our next rivals."

On his behalf, Ricardo Calvo, captain of Cuba, said: "we knew the level of Brazil, we lost concentration, we failed to take advantage of the pace of the game. Our group is strong and now go are against China, which is not easy."
