Japanese substitutions key to win over Egypt

Japanese players listen to instructions from coach Shingo Sakai.

Mexicali, Mexico, September 19, 2015 - Japanese coach Shingo Sakai admitted that the first set against Egypt was too complicated.

But working on the right substitutions was a key factor to solve the match in their favor.

“We work hard by making some changes, match was difficult and Egypt had some good moments. We would prefer to face Mexico on our next match, but it depends, we must be ready for any team but to finish with a victory,” He stated.

Grzegorz Rys, the Polish coach in charge of Egypt declared that his team showed a better performance.

“We improved a little bit, but the errors during the match did not allowed us to play as I expected,” Rys remarked.

“We had a good blocking game and good serving game in some moments,” he added. “I think those are things I can rescue from this match.”
