Russia lead men’s U21 rankings

 

Russia's men are top of the U21 world rankings

Lausanne, Switzerland, September 28, 2015 – Russia’s U21 men’s team sit proudly in first place in the FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Rankings following their recent victory in the FIVB Volleyball U21 Men’s World Championship.

Russia won Mexico 2015 with a 3-2 (20-25, 18-25, 25-16, 25-21, 15-11) defeat of Argentina that secured a third straight U21 title. 

It means that Nikolaev Mikhail’s team are in first place with 130 points, while Argentina are second with 116. 

Bronze medallists China are third in the rankings with 106 points, narrowly ahead of the team they beat in the bronze-medal match, Brazil, who are in fourth place with 100.
