Slovenia win in four against Japan

 

Slovenian players celebrate their triumph over the Japanese squad

Mexicali, Mexico, September 12, 2015 - With Stern Toncek as top scorer, Slovenia won in a four sets match against Japan, keeping their position ahead to second round at FIVB Mens U21 World Championship.

Toncek took the lead with 26 points, scoring 25  himself with powerfull attacks. On the other side Jan Kozamernik took the lead at the defence with a good blocking performance.

Japanese player Tsubasa Hisahara stood up as the best offensive player with 18 points, followed by Aturu Kumakura with 11 tallies.

With this victory Slovenia still have some chances, as they prepare in their match against France on Sunday at State Auditorium, meanwhile Japan will play Italy.
