Team profile

Argentina have qualified for five consecutive U21 World Championships including Morocco 2007, India 2009, Brazil 2011, Turkey 2013 and now, Mexico 2015.  Their best result came in 2011 when the team coached by Juan Manuel Cichello won the silver medal after being beaten 3-2 by Russia in the final.  They won the 2008 South American Championship and in the last decade they have never finished lower than second place.  This year, 14 of their players will also participate at the U23 World Championship.
