France to play for ninth place

Mexicali, Mexico, September 19, 2015 - French coach Jocelyn Trillon stated that He felt happy because his players are among the top ten teams at the FIVB Men’s U21 World Championship after a very complicated first pools round.

“I liked the way they played,” said Trillon. “I liked the concentration they showed and how they recovered from a bad set.”

Meanwhile, American captain John Hatch remarked that the match was very complicated.
“It was difficult, tough for us, after we came in and try to get into rhythm,” he expressed. “There were some errors that did not allowed us to finish with the win we were looking for.”

For Daniel Friend, the coach of the United States, his boys were so close. “It was tough for us, and we were close to take on some sets, but we must keep on concentrating for our next match on Sunday.”
